Oven BBQ Chicken

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, brined

1/2 cup onion, grated

1 cup catsup

2 tbs cider vinegar

5 tbs maple flavored corn syrup or maple syrup

2 tbs Worcestershire sauce

2 tbs brown mustard

1 tsp chile powder

a little bit of Cayenne

Blot chicken with paper towels
Use 1 tbs of vegetable oil.
Lightly saute chicken in a 12" skillet w/o a nonstick surface over pretty high heat. (1 or 2 minutes each side)

Remove chicken from pan, pour out any drippings left in pan. Turn heat down to medium. Simmer sauce for 4-5 minutes. Sauce is ready when a wake is left when you drag a spatula through. Put chicken in pan with sauce. Coat chicken w/ sauce. Put skillet in preheated 325 oven on upper middle rack. Cook for 12 minutes. Temperature in middle of chicken should be 130. Turn the broiler on and cook another 13 minutes. Final temperature we're looking for is 160.
